Quick and Easy Pasta Agli Olio
Ingredients
– **Pasta**: 200g spaghetti
– **Olive Oil**: 4 tablespoons
– **Garlic**: 4 cloves, thinly sliced
– **Red Pepper Flakes**: 1 teaspoon (optional)
– **Parsley**: Fresh, chopped for garnish
– **Salt**: To taste
– **Parmesan Cheese**: Grated, for serving (optional)
Step 1: Cook the Past
Start by boiling a pot of salted water. Add 200g of spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
While the pasta is cooking, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced garlic and sauté until it becomes golden brown. Be careful not to burn it
Step 3: Add Flavors
If you like a bit of heat, add 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the pan. Stir for about 30 seconds to release the flavors.
Step 4: Combine Pasta and Sauce
Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
