Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for 5 minutes. The sauce will thicken slightly.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
