Honey Garlic Shrimp

Honey Garlic Shrimp

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  3. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. If you want a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a tablespoon of water and add it to the sauce.
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables.
